In his presentation, Georg Kell, Executive Director of the United Nations Global Compact (the world's largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative with more than 7,000 participants in over 130 countries), will highlight the important contribution that businesses can make in advancing sustainability and outline specific ways in which the private sector can turn climate risks into business opportunities. He will also introduce the work of the Caring for Climate initiative, an action platform for UN Global Compact participants who seek to demonstrate climate leadership.
